Grigori Trofimovitch Rudenko being himself invalid since 1945 have invented and patented numerous constructions for amputees. The main of them are following:
Patent No 202460 for invention “Active artificial hand”
Patent No 969262 for invention “Artificial elbow-forearm”
Patent No 995779 for invention “Mechanism of elbow joint of artificial elbow-forearm”
Patent No 1773395 for invention “Artificial hand with active grip”
Artificial Elbow-Forearm (left and right) with passive bending (Patent No 995779) is intended to complete a set of the forearm prosthesis. It differs from the similar patterns by stepless fixation. The fixation is controlled actively. Passive bending angle: 120 deg. The unit makes it possible to perform passive rotation within ± 45 deg. Weight: 0.75 kg. The keeping momentum of fixed ball joint is 80 N m. Construction resource is more then 150,000 flexion cycles and 100,000 fixing cycles during two years.

Artificial hand (left and right) with passive grip and active final pressing (Patent No 1773395) is intended to complete a set of forearm, shoulder prostheses with passive and active elbow. It differs from the similar patterns by the capability to perform the final pressing and step-by-step fixation by two control systems (active and passive). Dosed and controlled force of grip firstly reaches 0.8 kg and then 5 kg at final pressing. The maximum opening stroke of the hand is 100 mm. Its weight is 0.48 kg. The hand contains two active rods (for final pressing and opening) controlled by compensation motion of an invalid.
